The Marketplace for Recombinant Drugs:
It is estimated in the Datamonitor Report (Recombinant Therapeutic Proteins, Datamonitor, New York, 2004.), that annual sales of recombinant protein drugs, which are no longer under patent protection or will soon lose such patent protection, will exceed U.S. $53 billion by the year 2010.
At this time, Phage has targeted certain drug products where it should be able to penetrate the existing market. For the future, Phage has targeted additional major drugs that are without patent protection, or where patent protection is expiring within the time frame it would take for Phage to obtain regulatory approval for the sale of the drug in the United States.

Phage’s Business
Phage Biotechnology’s business focus is the manufacturing of protein drugs whose patents have expired; this offers Phage an opportunity to utilize its unique biotechnology process to produce these protein drugs and offer them at price discounts to pharmaceutical buyers and distributors. We believe Phage’s unique protein production process will make it possible to offer these drugs at substantial price discounts to the established branded protein drugs. With this business focus, Phage has advanced its human growth hormone pharmaceutical product to the clinical trial stage.

Corporate Objectives
PHAGE has established certain objectives for the corporation to obtain. Those objectives are:

manufacture nine biopharmaceuticals for clinical testing;
initiate clinical trials for Peg-Interferon and Peg-Growth Hormone in 2007;
initiate the pre-clinical development of an additional 10 novel pegylated biopharmaceuticals;
market our first drug, human growth hormone, by 2008; and capture and maintain market growth.
